Knight Support’s Fire Team is headed by Chief Fire Officer (CFO) David Burns. As a highly qualified and experienced UK fire officer, David has worked with West Midlands Fire & Rescue Service (WMFS) and the International Search & Rescue (UKISAR) on several international disasters including Haiti and New Zealand earthquakes. His vast 30 years of emergency experience includes a proven record of operating within dynamic emergency situations, command and control, hazardous materials as well as qualifications in health and safety such as IOSH, and a recent OSHA.
CFO Burns leads on risk assessments, accident investigation and near hits and uses his expert knowledge and understanding to ensure that all of Knight Support fire officers and crews are trained to the highest professional standards and operating procedures are aligned to the UK standards.
Knight Support has fire tenders strategically placed in different areas of Dar es Salaam. This enables our teams to quickly respond to emergencies.
